You are allowed to show films for 'purposes of instruction' to staff and students at an educational establishment. Even if the DVD case states that it is for 'home use only', you are unlikely to be at risk of prosecution under these circumstances as the law now overrides contractual terms.
All staff and students have access to recordings of TV and radio programmes via the Box of Broadcasts streaming service, as well as to recordings in the library collection made under our ERA licence. Clips from these can also be used by staff and students.
